Not Pessimistic, Just Realistic!
Any reason for me to babble...
this is the water main break on Hunter Mill Rd, a 24” pipe burst and shot water into the air for a bit, flooding a few front yards. I was stopping in on J&J’s house while they were on vacation (13th anniversary!!) and walked down to see if it was interesting.
Technology is so weird. We are in the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola, FL when we get a call from Jimmy’s dad (who lives an hour from us) saying he saw the water main break on the news. I texted a friend who lives a mile away to see if she knew anything about it and she sent me the news link. We proceeded to watch a video on Jimmy’s phone of water shooting out of the ground 200 yards from our house… as we’re standing amongst war planes a thousand miles away.
It’s been 2 weeks and they still have crews out there every day doing something to the road. It looks all fixed to me so I don’t know what they are doing.
